Not just an astrology app.
In most Indian homes this was never one thing. It is a kundli drawn when a child is born. A call to the family jyotishi before a wedding date is fixed. The panchang checked before a griha pravesh. Different people, different books, different phone calls.
GoodLuck puts the chart, the timing and a person to ask in one place — so you are not starting over every time a new question comes up.

Date, time and place. Time matters more than most people expect — the lagna shifts roughly every two hours. If you are unsure of the time, the app says so plainly rather than pretending otherwise.

Nothing to boast about yet. So here is the standard instead.
GoodLuck has not launched. We have no user numbers, no ratings, no testimonials and no awards — and we would rather tell you that than borrow numbers we have not earned. What we can put in front of you today is how we intend to work, written plainly enough that you can hold us to it.

How practitioners are onboarded
Before anyone takes a consultation they set out their training or parampara in writing, the system they practise and the languages they work in. That is published on their profile.

No manufactured activity
No "twelve people are viewing this". No scrolling feed of strangers who supposedly just booked. No countdown. If a number appears on this site, it is real or it is not there.

The amount you will pay
Consultations show an estimated total for the length you choose, not only a per-minute figure. No struck-through rates, no first-minute-for-a-rupee.

Nobody gets to frighten you
Practitioners agree, as a condition of being listed, never to raise fear of harm or misfortune in order to sell anything. Tell us if it happens and we will act on it.

Your birth details stay yours
A kundli is a personal document. We do not sell your personal details to advertisers or data brokers, and you can delete your chart and your account.

We will say when we do not know
Traditions disagree with one another — north and south Indian charts are drawn differently, dasha systems vary. Where there is no single answer, the app will say so.

Reasonable things to ask before trusting an app with this.
Does astrology actually work?
An honest question, so an honest answer: we cannot prove it to you, and we will not try. Jyotish is a tradition several thousand years old that millions of families use to think about timing and decisions. We treat it as tradition and practice, not as science, and we will never tell you a reading is accurate or guaranteed. What we can promise is that the calculations are done properly and the reasoning is shown.
I don't know my exact birth time. Can I still use it?
Yes, and you are in large company — hospital records and family memory often disagree. Your rashi and nakshatra depend on the Moon and are usually stable across a few hours; your lagna is not. The app will show you which parts of your chart are affected by the uncertainty rather than quietly picking a time for you.
Will someone try to frighten me into buying something?
They should not, and if it happens we want to hear about it. Raising fear of harm or misfortune to sell a service is a breach of the standard every practitioner agrees to before being listed.
What does it cost?
The core tools — kundli, panchang, rashifal, muhurat, milan — are free to use, in full. You pay only if you choose to consult a practitioner, and you see the estimated total before you begin.

No, and we will not suggest otherwise. Nothing in the app is medical, legal or financial advice, and no reading substitutes for a doctor, a lawyer or a qualified adviser. If something is urgent, please talk to a professional.
